Greetings!

It's November! Yay!

I'm super annoying during the month of November. My kids would say that I'm always super annoying, but I'll even admit it about November.  It's the month of Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving is all about gratitude - my most favorite thing ever!

So, in the spirit of the season, I would, first, like to say THANK YOU to all of you who read this newsletter, come to hear me speak, attend my events, come to my office for private meetings or simply read my tips on Facebook.  I'm grateful to each and every one of you for your support of my work and, of course, I hope that it makes a difference for you in some small way.

Second, I would love to challenge you to adopt some sort of gratitude practice during the month of November (and hopefully beyond).  You can write, record, or just say something you are grateful for each day.  Model this gratitude for your kids by sharing with them and asking them what they're grateful for each day, too.

Wishing you love and balance with immense gratitude,

Parenting tip of the month:

Quality time!

Now that we have turned the clocks back, it seems we will have more indoor hours in the coming months. What a great opportunity to spend more time around the dinner table (with older kids), have game nights, read more books, light a fire and gather around it with some hot apple cider or even do homework on the floor together with blankets or sleeping bags in your pajamas.

This time of year can really give rise to more quality, family time - you just have to be creative and know what works for your kids.

Take advantage and embrace the beauty of this season!  Feel free to e-mail me your family's creative ideas for cozy, indoor time.  Pictures are welcome, too!  Let me know if I have permission to share them on Facebook.
